One of Delaware's top law enforcement officials has been charged with raping a 16-year-old.

New Castle County Police say 34-year-old Daniel Simmons of Wilmington, a Deputy Attorney General in the state's Justice Department, met the victim using a social media app called "Grindr."

Simmons is charged with 4th-degree rape.

Police are asking any other victims in the case to come forward, and are urging parents to monitor what their kids are doing on the internet.
