BREAKING: Delaware, Eastern Shore Maryland schools receive bomb threats

12:05 p.m.: An Eastern Shore of Maryland school district also confirms it received a threat as well this morning. Talbot County School District confirming on Twitter that Easton Elementary Moton received a "suspicious phone call". All students reported safe and updates will become available soon.

11:47 a.m.: Caesar Rodney School District confirms to Delaware 105.9 that the high school received a threat as well. Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald also posted the following to the district's Facebook page:

"Today, January 11th, Caesar Rodney High School was one of the many schools throughout the state that received an automated Bomb threat via phone. The building was evacuated quickly per our school protocol. The Delaware State Police supervised the search of the school. Once the police gave the administration the β€œall clear,” students returned to class. At no time during this incident were students or staff in danger. The state police investigation is ongoing."

10:15 a.m.: DSP are right now on the scene at Indian River High School after an automated call came in this morning reporting a bomb in the school.

School officials tell Delaware 105-9 that the school in Dagsboro has been evacuated; ALL students and staff are safe. The students and staff have been moved to John M. Clayton School in Frankford while the school is being checked out.

School officials are in the process of notifying parents to let them know that their children are safe.

Reports are that several schools received the automated bomb threat calls today (Monday); Lulu M. Ross Elementary in Milford was on that list, as was Smyrna Elementary School.

We are trying to confirm with DSP all the schools that received the call.
