Lieutenant Governor Matt Denn will be in Seaford Wednesday to announce that the Seaford School District is joining Colonial School District and Lake Forest School District as having all elementary schools offering alternative breakfast models in place.

Alternative breakfast has been a proven way to increase participation and in turn increase grades, test scores, and positive behavior throughout the day. It has also shown across the country that alternative breakfast models, such as breakfast in the classroom and grab and go, reduce tardiness, absenteeism, childhood obesity and disciplinary issues.

Lt. Gov. Denn will be at West Seaford Elementary School on Sussex Avenue at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday
