Delaware Humane Association Delaware 105.9 loves pets! That's why we've partnered with the Delaware Humane Association to bring you the Pet Page. Each week, we'll show you a cat and a dog from the Delaware Humane Association who need good homes. You can also get answers to your pet health questions in our new Ask the Vet feature, plus useful information for any animal lover in our Tip of the Month section.

Pets of the week for January 18, 2017

ROCKY

Neutered female adult medium Shar Pei/Terrier mix
This goofy boy is around 3-years-old and was surrendered by his owner when they no longer had time for him. He is wonderful at playing fetch, knows all kinds of tricks and commands and is very eager to please! He is food motivated, but is gentle when it comes to taking treats. He has not minded bigger dogs here, but seems to get excited and more interested when he sees smaller dogs and cats. When he is spending time in our office area, he is very playful and will check out every toy in the toy bin. However, he gets overexcited and protective of his area. He would do best in a home that can exercise him and also teach him how to relax and feel safe. Could you be the one to give him the home he deserves? Rocky is already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped!

PRINCESSA

Spayed female adult Domestic Shorthair
Princessa came to us from another shelter as an owner surrender. She is a gentle girl and we hope she will find a new home soon. Princessa likes to be pet and may give your hand a nudge. She’ll play with her toys when she thinks no one is looking. Princessa is good with other cats. Won’t you spend some time with her and see what a great girl she is? This girl is ready to get a fresh start at life and is anxious to see who will be her forever family. Princessa is already neutered, vaccinated and microchipped!
